Before joining Apple, Sam led The Guardian's in-house creative agency as Creative Director.

During his time on the Guardian, Sam contributed to the Guardian’s financial turnaround and the brand's 200th Anniversary. His team won hundreds of awards including, Campaign In-House Agency of the Year, Campaign Creative Of The Year, and D&AD and One Show Pencils.

And before joining The Guardian, Sam founded and ran the Shanghai-based creative agency, Jellymon.

Sam worked with clients including: Nike, Converse, Adidas, Apple, Google, Uniqlo, Red Bull, Mini and many more of the world’s best loved brands. Sam’s work at Jellymon connected global brands to hard to reach Chinese audiences.
