To support the launch of Red Bull I developed the brand's first-ever culture-event programme in Mainland China.
This meant creating event branding, city-specific OOH, unique artwork for each event, media kits, participant materials, tote bags, ID badges and too much other stuff to mention.
We also produced a newspaper, distributed at strategic locations around Beijing during the event.
The media and participant kit were inspired by an iconic piece of Beijing fashion; the striped blue and white sailor shirt and also referenced the revered Akai MPC3000 sampler. Hidden in the pattern was the Chinese characters 北京 (Beijing).
